1.You had 3-4 european tours till now and
you visited Budapest 2 times, but this is the first time you hit Balkan if I’m
correct? Why you never came here? Tell me what is the biggest opstacle for a band
from Kiev to tour Europe and if there is any? What’s the difference touring
Europe and Ukraine, Belarus,Russia?
Hey hey!! Yes, correct!! Well, mostly because Budapest was closer to our
usual central european route and we have great friends there (shout outs to
Chiller Than Most/No Regrets Booking). But i was always interested in Balkan
region and countries of former Yugoslavia, because you have amazing cultural
and historical background, so i always wanted to travel here and now it's
finally possible, we are so stocked!!
Yes, there are some obstacles and the main is the visa question –
ukranians need to apply for EU visa for every trip, prepare full package of
documents that prove that you have job, money for traveling, etc., and you'll
never know if you'll get the visa or not, it's like a lottery. Touring in post-soviet countries and EU are
quite similar, but i guess the audience in post-soviet area has less shows in
general, so kids are always excited to see the bands and vice verca. Also, EU
has better roads and well-built hardcore punk infrastructure, post-soviet cops
are more corrupt and pissed off...))

We know and we are listening for a while to a bands like Together, Suppression, Aspire, Set Adrift, Still etc. Lot of influence by Rev, New Age records, 90s hardcore, how’s that? It seems that Odessa and Kiev are like European hardcore Mecca . Tell me more how that happened and why all this awesome bands doesn’t tour Europe?

Thanks!!! Well, honestly, I don't know why exactly this is happening
right now. Probably because we have some really nice and talanted people here,
who still care a lot about music and want to make something out of nothing.
Both in Kyiv and Odessa, it's small close circle of friends, who like to hang
out together, travel, hang out and have fun. And i guess hardcore is all about
this things, so why not?)
As for touring Europe – well, it takes money and time. Ukrainian bands
are sadly not that popular in Europe, so touring means losing money, and it's
hard to afford that. But i hope this will change some day, maybe next year, who
knows. I'd love to see our bands traveling everywhere.
3. You put out your S/T record for Chillean record label Amendment records, which is awesome. Remission and the other guys have been doing some awesome job in the last couple of years. Tell me how that happened? That was in 2013-2014 right? Do you have any new songs and about your plans with the band in the future?
Pablo suggested us to do compilation of our 3 EPs as one LP, and it turned out good. But that was in 2014, right. After that we've been working on our first real album, which hopefully will be ready-to-go this summer. On this tour we play mostly new material, so it's good chance to test these songs. Honestly, they sound a lot different than our previous stuff. It's still a heavy hardcore, but blended with 90's alternative rock tunes and american noise rock. We find this as something new and interesting, a brand new chapter in the life of Bluesbreaker.
4. You have a lot of different influences in your music and its kinda unique, cause even if it’s a hardcore rooted sound there is some rock, blues vibes that makes a good bland there. We know that sometimes it could be hard not to fit in in any particular hardcore genre. How is Bluesbraker accepted and what are the reactions from people who heard you for the first time?
Well, we never had an agenda neither to be another copycat band, nor
something «extremely fresh and unique», we were always trying just to write
nice riffs and harmonies, something that we would like to listen. At some point
we were really influenced by stoner rock and blues, we still are, really, so we
had songs that sounded like that as the result. As i said before, our latest
material has some other patterns and structures, we’ve
stepped even more “out of the genre”. But usually people like our stuff, it has
something for everyone, at least we think so.
5. Have you ever heard something about Serbian or Novi Sad scene? What’s your expectations? Have a safe trip, awesome time on tour and see you soon.

Well, I heard a lot about Serbian punk and post-punk scene of the
80s-90s, but honestly not that much about local hardcore. I'm really stocked to
see Novi Sad, it looks like awesome and interesting city with great background
and history, I hope we'll have some time to explore it nicely. And of course
I'm stocked for the show!! Thanks to Rebuild Collective for making this happen
